Core Logistics - Intern #2319 Columbus, OH Area of Interest Owner Experience Job Description The CORE (Centralized Operations and Efficiencies) Specialist will help provide service to the Owner logistics, crew member catering and vendor spaces, while also helping to identify and implement cost saving strategies. The role will also include other back office functions. 30%: Crew food following: Utilize existing technology to consistently ensure our crewmembers are properly nourished. Consistently communicate with crew members when plans change. Service begins with taking care of our people and partners. 30%: Owner logistics quality control: Utilize reporting and dashboards to monitor and make recommendations to improve and make each travel experience special and personalized through onboard dining and ground transportation. Subject matter experts for in-flight catering and ground transportation. 30%: Vendor relation building: Act as the single point of contact for our logistics providers for tactical, day-of issues. Create and strengthen true partnerships with our key vendors. 10%: Continuous improvement initiatives: Identify efficiencies in back office functions to make controlling cost a regular part of our agenda. Requirements Education: High School Graduate Related Work Experience: 2-4 years * Previous experience in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and the ability to multi-task are crucial to this position with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. * Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, aviation or logistic/supply chain functions. * Ability to communicate in a professional manner in stressful situations. * Ability to manage and make decisions with multiple competing variables and priorities. * Sound judgment and problem-solving skills. * Strong customer service and team focus.
