The Nutanix 6-month apprenticeships will provide support programs, mentorships, and valuable work experience across multiple disciplines, including Marketing, Operations, Sales Ops, and Engineering. Students will end the program with real-world tools to kick off their career and build their networks. The Global Deal Desk Apprentice is a member of the Global Sales Operations department, focusing largely on supporting the Field Sales Team with quote support, deal structuring and pricing. The ideal candidate will be able to help manage between the Organization goals and enabling the Field to execute pricing strategies with Customers. This includes: working with the Sales teams to maximize Nutanix revenues, providing quote support for our Global Sales teams, and collaborating with Product Management to help bring new products to market. You will collaborate very closely with the Field Sales Team, Sales Operations, IT, Product Management, Legal, Finance and Accounting, as well as other internal stakeholders to ensure that the Field Sales Teams have the support needed to execute Organizational goals. Responsibilities: * Support our Global Sales Organization on quote modifications * Help structure pricing related strategies to structure deals to win * Act as a liaison between the Sales teams and Finance/Accounting/Legal to ensure Organizational objectives are adhered to while evaluating Customer requirements * Engage closely with Product Management to support the release of new products and offerings, including system testing * Manage discounting and pricing guidelines on a deal by deal basis to meet Organizational goals Sales Operations: * Occasional review of deal financials, pricing and business risk required * Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies and serve as an escalation point to business leaders * Proven ability to effectively communicate with sales persons, internal teams, and external partners & distributors * Ability to execute quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment * Must be willing to work extended hours during end of quarters Requirements: * Strong and active listening skills and overall communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to be responsible, flexible, accountable and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, adapt and prioritize to meet deadlines * Experience with Excel and PowerPoint * Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus * Works well in a team environment * Certification or AA degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, mathematics, or statistics Nutanix is an equal opportunity employer.
