Could a career at OnTrac be for you? As the next OPERATIONS MANAGER at OnTrac, you will supervise and coordinate activities of our morning facility workforce. Under the direction of the Facility General Manager you will consult and coordinate with the other Operations Managers and work closely with Dispatchers and Delivery personnel to ensure our packages are delivered on time! SCHEDULE: TUESDAY- SATURDAY, 5AM UNTIL 2PM  

 WHAT YOU’LL DO AS AN OPERATIONS MANAGER:  

• TAKE CARE OF OUR NUMBER ONE ASSET...  OUR PACKAGE HANDLERS
• Record line haul time of arrival, destination, cargo, departure time, and expected arrival time at the next destination
• Supervise the daily functions of ]Package Handlers to ensure timely completion of work
• Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
• Confer with customers to provide optimal customer service delivery. 
• Determine appropriate resolution of employee/customer relation issues
• Initiate or suggest plans to motivate Package Handlers to achieve goals
• Administer discipline and counseling as appropriate to foster optimal performance of employees
• Prepare business transaction/efficiency-related reports
• Participatet in the interviewing, screening and selection processes of staff
• Assign vehicles to routes according to factors such as length, trip purpose, and freight requirements

 WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONS MANAGER:  

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) at minimum
• FIVE YEARS Lead or Supervisor experience, THREE OF WHICH SHOULD BE IN A IN SIMILAR INDUSTRY, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.  Experience may be less with Bachelor’s Degree
• Knowledge of branch routes as well as driver and customer base
