Job Title: Linehaul Operations Clerk

SUMMARY: The primary focus of this position is to track, communicate, coordinate and update needed information to ensure loads are arriving timely.
Schedule: Tuesday thru Saturday 5am to 1:35pm with Sundays and Mondays off

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES- None

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE – High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired. Minimum of two years’ transportation industry experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must possess analytical skills and ability to think quickly.
OTHER SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Must be able to type 40WPM. Ten-key helpful.
