    Job Description

    We’re looking for a creative, talented, and dynamic Corporate Communications Specialist to work out of our global headquarters in downtown San Francisco.   As a Corporate Communications Specialist at Optimizely, you will have the opportunity to grow three core areas of communications, including public relations, analyst relations, and social media. In this role, reporting into the senior manager of corporate communications, you will help build and execute thought-leadership and corporate communications campaigns in support of our business objectives. Your role is essential in helping to evangelize our broader corporate narrative to key media audiences and influencers around the world. To be successful, this role must be a strategic partner within the marketing team and key stakeholders, while maintaining the reporting function and the development of content.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Write, proofread and edit content including thought leadership articles, press releases, speaking abstracts, blogs, sales enablement and more.

    • Coordinate with internal company spokespersons to participate in media interviews and analyst briefings/inquiries.

    • Serve as the company advocate when interfacing with one or more outside PR firms.

    • Aggregate and distribute press/analyst coverage to internal stakeholders (as well as sharing insights from relevant research reports to the larger organization).

    • Partner with Senior Manager of Corporate Communications to develop content for Company All Hands and Leadership meetings to measure the impact.

    • Partner with Senior Manager of Corporate Communications to deliver executive-level reporting on a regular cadence and build efficient processes for distributing program updates across the organization at large.

    • Manage the company social advocacy platform with other marketing team members (includes drafting and adding content).

    • Liaise with social media agency to handle social responses and update internal account teams.

    • Update and create presentations for analyst briefings.

    • Maintain analyst interactions and press release schedule spreadsheets.

    • Provide a variety of PR/AR services on a retainer basis for 20 to 30 hours per week for a minimum of three months with consideration to full time.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years’ in-house or agency PR experience required. Technology experience a must.

    • Excellent grammar, spelling, copyediting and proofreading skills. Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficient in Google suite.

    • Experience with GaggleAMP or alternative social advocacy platform a plus.
