    Framatome is seeking a Human Performance Program Manager for our Mill Ridge Road office in Lynchburg, Virginia. Remote work options may be considered. Under moderate supervision this position is responsible for implementing Framatome human performance and operational excellence programs including observation, data trending and analysis, and improvement plan development.   This individual will assist management in understanding emerging human performance trends and developing actions to arrest undesired performance trends.   Responsible for fostering a continuous improvement culture using Lean tools in a pragmatic manner to implement timely, value-added change within the business. Provide leadership in driving culture changes needed to build support & participation in human performance  improvement initiatives.

     

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Serve as the Human Performance Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the business
    • Ensure employees understand and demonstrate human performance on a daily basis
    • Assist in development and delivery of human performance training, as needed
    • Review/evaluation of performance data from corrective action program, human performance observations, and other sources to identify potential trends, strengths, improvement opportunities, and performance shortfalls.
    • Develop and implementation of strategies to improve human performance at the individual, product line, and business unit levels.
    • Provide recommendations to management on when to escalate events of concern for accelerated review and correction.
    • Participate as requested in the investigation of events and trends
    • Facilitate / Coach flash meetings, A3 projects, FMEA (and other quality tools), Performance Plans, Voice of the Customer, 8D Event Resolution, and Visual Management Meetings, as needed.
    • Support Operating Unit Implementation Initiatives including Master Plan development and maintenance.
    • Interface with the Global OpEx network

     

     

    TRAVEL: Occasional/sporadic

    Required Skills Required Experience

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY:

    • Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of, plus 6 years of relevant experience

     

     

    THE FOLLOWING MAY BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION:

    • Knowledge of human performance programs, processes, methodologies, tools, and analysis
    • Knowledge of INPO human performance excellence standards
    • Knowledge of human performance post-event investigative methodologies
    • Pragmatic thinker and excellent communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to simplify complex topics and connect within a broader context
    • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes, methods, and metrics
    • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
    • Ability to lead, motivate, and effect change through others
    • Knowledge of change management and ability to influence change
    • Commercial nuclear power experience is preferred. Experience implementing human performance program is a plus
    • Knowledge and experience using Lean tools
