Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for aligning business objectives to people solutions within assigned client group(s). This role collaborates with internal and external partners to respond to business and/or employee needs. People business partners act as business professionals, team member champions, and change agents. This position will deliver both strategic and tactical HR support and programs to the organization from educating clients on compliance, performance management, career development to advising on various management issues. This position typically supports employees through director-level; may support VP - level depending on organizational structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages employee relations issues, through effective, thorough and objective investigations, engaging with compliance as needed to resolve, and keep managers informed of the status as needed.
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Escalates cases as needed to people business partner leadership; partners with the Legal department as needed/required.
Partners with team members to be a champion of employee experience and effective workplace culture.
Forms effective relationships with client groups, coach, consult and empower management, by providing People guidance when appropriate.
Builds basic level of business and HR acumen to identify trends and metrics in partnership with the Centers of Expertise teams to develop solutions, programs, policies and opportunities for learning.
Helps to execute company-wide Talent Programs within client groups, including Annual Talent Review, Performance Review, and Competency Assessment, etc.
Works closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides basic input on business structure, workforce planning and succession planning.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field with 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred
Comfortable with high volume and very fast-paced workload.
Demonstrate discretion and sound judgment while working with sensitive and confidential materials
Results driven; able to deliver full-cycle projects (start to finish) and results in a timely manner
Ability to solve moderate to complex problems; resourceful and takes initiative to seek internal and external resources when problem-solving
