Job Description
Sustaining Product Test floor coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day software sustaining test execution activities on the test floor or lab. He/She acts as the central point of contact between test engineers, development teams, program managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth scheduling, tracking, and sustaining needs for our CT Explosives Detection Systems (EDS). Responsible for managing sustaining activities, including associated HW and/or SW developments, testing and deployment support, and management of Technology-driven deliverables and milestones. This will include planning and managing the schedule, budget and deliverables. The ideal candidate is an accomplished hands-on software/hardware quality engineer who has a passion for quality and understands how to achieve meeting company critical objectives.

Qualifications
Required/Preferred: Strong fundamentals in SQA.
Experience with Version Control Systems (such as SVN and GIT) and Bug tracking systems like JIRA. Test management tools like Testrails
Strong hands on experience with Linux/Windows system software.
Willing to work with CT systems swapping physical parts, pushing bags and software testing.
Proven history of working with teams inside and outside engineering in a collaborative and productive fashion.
Ability to work independently on tight deadlines in a resource constrained environment
Knowledge of software scripting languages (Python) and test software languages (C, and/ or C++) a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willing to travel in the field to support development and customers
Years of Experience : 5+ years of experience testing SW with a proven track record of releasing quality SW.
Education Level: BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant discipline.
Additional Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older
Available on-site in Edgewood Maryland Smiths Detection Facility.
Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process
Must be willing to submit to and cooperate with a background investigation (corporate and/ or government) as part of the selection process, and continued employment is dependent upon maintaining a current approved (“passed”) background investigation

The compensation for this position ranges from $93,120 - $209,520/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills, job-related knowledge, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
