We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate collaboration with faculty, students, staff, and across the university along with a desire to serve our profession and the global community; who values diversity, equity, and inclusion in health care practice.
Required Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in occupational therapy or related field (PhD, OTD, EdD, or equivalent)
Minimum of eight years of occupational therapy experience, with at least four years of post-baccalaureate teaching experience
Administrative experience in areas such as program planning, implementation, personnel management, evaluation, and budgeting.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in occupational therapy education and practice.
A record of scholarship, professional service, and leadership.
Current NBCOT certification and eligibility for licensure in Virginia.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ACOTE accreditation processes.
A background in hybrid or online education.
Leadership experience in faculty mentorship and curriculum innovation.
Engagement in interprofessional education and practice.
