    Job Description

    We are seeking a high-energy, assertive, and results-oriented Engineer to join our team. This role is designed for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment and is passionate about driving product quality through advanced problem-solving methodologies. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring defect resolution and process stability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and defect resolution using Shainin and DFSS methodologies.

    • Project Management: Develop action plans to drive issue resolution and meet strict project deadlines.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with assembly plant teams, tooling specialists, and suppliers to improve vehicle design and process control.

    • Data Analysis: Collect and synthesize complex statistical and metrological data into actionable insights for leadership.

    • Quality Standards: Maintain rigorous adherence to APQP/PPAP requirements and Supplier Quality Manuals.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Degree: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited university.

    • Certifications: * Reactive Shainin Green Belt or Black Belt.

      • Proactive DFSS Green Belt or Black Belt.
    • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of vehicle design, assembly plant processes, and tooling.

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in APQP/PPAP, Metrology principles, and Escalation processes.

    • Advanced working knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

    • Familiarity with TeamCenter CAD is considered a significant plus.

    • Communication: High-level English proficiency (written/verbal) with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    • Mindset: Self-directed and ambitious with a "team-first" orientation and a motivation to learn new principles.

    • Logistics: Must be able to cross the U.S./Canadian border as required for site assistance.
