    Job Description

    The Recruiter is critical to the success of the Expeditors Corporate Information Services Department. Within the department, we have five different portfolios each responsible for supporting our business teams and branch offices. As a Recruiter, you will use your experience and knowledge to help our Core Portfolio (Infrastructure) to source and hire top technical candidates to fill a variety of roles as well as assist in their on-boarding experience. This role requires you to be a highly collaborative full-cycle recruiter and deeply committed to providing a great candidate and stakeholder experience.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Collaborate and partner closely with hiring teams to understand their headcount needs and develop recruitment strategies
    • Establish sourcing strategies and procedures to attract talent through various channels
    • Support and promote programs such as employee referrals and university recruiting
    • Assist hiring managers with creating job descriptions, posting job openings, and managing job advertising
    • Advise hiring managers and stakeholders on procedures, SLAs, processes, policies, and best practices throughout the recruiting process
    • Manage full life-cycle recruitment for technical roles including sourcing, resume review, interview setup, feedback, offer process, and onboarding
    • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
    • Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring and on-boarding process
    • Maintain the integrity of and be the knowledge expert for our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    • Participate in process improvement efforts to ensure our recruiting and onboarding processes are exceptional for candidates and hiring teams
    • Create and provide reporting to Leadership on recruiting activity, metrics, and forecasted hiring
    • Stay well-informed of recruiting trends and best practices
    • Partner with IS-Recruiting to assess, advocate, and develop projects to support talent acquisition strategy
    • Partner with team managers on on-boarding documentation and consistency
    • Participate in additional tasks, projects, and special assignments as needed

    This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of corporate recruiting experience
    • Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech or professional services environment
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Demonstrated experience recruiting for a variety of technical roles
    • Experience working with recruiting agencies and industry recruiting tools
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable interfacing and collaborating with hiring managers and other stakeholders
    • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
    • Ability to deliver results while meeting deadlines
    • Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to effectively prioritize
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated experience as a full-cycle recruiter for a high volume of technical roles
    • Experience leading talent acquisition projects
    • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills
    • Experience creating candidate marketing campaigns
    • Experience organizing and participating in recruiting events
    • Demonstrated ability to stay apprised of evolving market conditions, recruiting trends, and sourcing methods

    Additional Information

    Expected base salary: $78,000 to $165,000
