Line Haul Dispatcher (Full-Time) - Salt Lake City, UT - Reddaway SHIFT: Swing (Tuesday - Saturday) ** ** JOB SUMMARY Reddaway's Line Dispatcher will be responsible for effective driver utilization to maximize time through the dispatching and coordination of Line drivers. ** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** 1. Supervising, planning and assigning workload. 2. 2+ years of dispatch experience 3. Knowledge of both DOT and HAZMAT regulations. 4. Excellent communication and customer service skills. REQUIREMENTS 1. High school education or equivalent. 2. Proven communication and customer service skills. 3. Must be able to work 40 hours per week minimum. 4. Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. 5. Computer skills to include strong knowledge of MS Office (EXCEL & WORD) as well as 10 key data entry experience. 6. Knowledge of U.S. geography ** PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** 1. Experience in regional transportation business. 2. Knowledge of company operations' policies and procedures. 3. Advance knowledge of MS Office (EXCEL macro development, MS ACCESS) 4.
