    Fall Food Security and Livelihoods Intern Intern/Fellow/Volunteer FALLF02076 Apply with LinkedIn Apply now * * Posted: July 30, 2018 * PartTime * Washington, DC Washington, DC, USA Washington, DC Washington, DC, USA +0 more less Job Details Description Summary Save the Children's Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) team seeks a graduate student for a parttime internship to support its knowledge management priorities specifically related to: 1) inclusive market system development; and 2) post harvest management practices and technologies. The selected candidates will work with the technical team and with their guidance conduct desk research, support development of research protocol and tools, conduct qualitative research and help draft knowledge products including technical briefs, fact sheets, case studies, etc. as needed. The intern will be cited as contributing author for any material that is published for external audiences by Save the Children.  Responsibilities Support FSL technical team in developing knowledge management products related to its learning agenda and thought leadership priorities. Key responsibilities will include providing support in the following activities with the guidance of FSL Technical Advisors: * Desk research both internal and external in prioritized technical areas * Developing research tools and conducting online Key Informant Interviews/surveys as required * Drafting knowledge products including technical briefs, fact sheets, case studies and PowerPoints as required.  Requirements * Graduate student or recent graduate in relevant area including agriculture, international development, economics, business studies, etc. * Good research skills with some experience in conducting qualitative research * Good writing skills required and document production skills preferred * Language skills in Spanish will be helpful * Possess strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team. * Proficient in Microsoft Office. * Eligible to work in the U.S. * To be classified as an intern: an individual must be enrolled in a relevant undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate academic program and able to receive credit from his/her college or institution.
