Extensive knowledge in all electronic, mechanical, electro/mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, subsystems, and components related to transit systems.
Ability to lead and schedule training sessions.
Ability to perform on a constant basis Quality Assurance Inspections.
Skilled in the diagnosis of electronic and mechanical failure identification.
Ability to use various computer applications for reports, shift communications, inventory control, etc.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, and all standard electro/mechanical symbols.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to be utilized in the preparation of reports and task assignments.

Minimum BS degree in a related engineering discipline, Electrical preferred.
Total experience of at least six years. One year in other engineering functions is preferred.
Technical expert on operation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all product lines.
Experience with vehicle systems required.
