    Job Description

    • Creating overall Material Flow Plan of Record.
    • Supporting all shops Delivery Man assignments.
    • Creating Manpower Plan of Record and deck for each milestone, capturing changes from one another in ach deliverable.
    • Calculating and reporting all delivery manpower.
    • Static and dynamic simulations.
    • Congestion analysis.
    • Detailing all components of man assignments.
    • Reporting for P&P manpower.
    • Generating Supplemental Manpower Reporting with Production Control Team.
    • Conducting baseline analysis of current PFEP and identifying initial Material Flow, with a focus on kitted and sequence parts complexity increases.
    • Assigning concerned parts to Commodity (with P&P and Station Readiness Leads).
    • Assigning/Analyzing Bound Delivery Method.
    • Studying Trailer Gate capacity.
    • Assigning/Analyzing Docks and Trailers.
    • Assigning/Analyzing Storage for layout support (Marshalling/Staging, Bulk Storage (Full and Empty), Small Lot Storage (CMA design, process, layout and install drawings).
    • Assigning/Analyzing delivery methods for all the parts through the plant.
    • Monitoring assignments and studies completion.
    • Compiling relevant data from other parties (3PL, Transportation, SR…)
    • Providing final lessons learned for Material Flow.
    • Monitoring PFEP status from other teams and adapting their own studies accordingly.
    • Designing Storage Layouts for all shops.
    • Designing / Analyzing Kit and Sequence Cell Designs.
    • Conducting Change Management.
    • Providing and updating relevant KPIs.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering with Logistics specialty, Supply Chain, or related field/work experience.
    • 3+ years of automotive internal logistics experience in an Industrial Engineering position.
    • 3+ years as a project team member – ability to report activity status and respect timing.
    • Experience coordinating with multiple parties.
    • Experience in change management in industrial environments.
    • Proficient in MS Office – Including Excel and Access.
    • Proficient in the Autodesk Product Design & Manufacturing Collection (in particular: Inventor, Factory Design Utilities, AutoCAD 2D/3D, Navisworks).
    • Basic knowledge of ergonomics, AGVs, procurement and industrial safety principles.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Experience utilizing ODCICS2 preferred.
    • Experience utilizing Flow Planner (ProPlanner) preferred.
    • Experience utilizing Team center required.
