    SUMMER 2019 INTERNSHIP, 10-WEEK PROGRAM

    MAY 20, 2019 - JULY 26, 2019

    Enterprise Holdings is seeking driven and passionate technologists to join our Summer 2019 Internship program.  As an “Ignite” intern, you will be part of a team tasked with developing an application from concept to implementation and/or working side-by-side our product teams on real world production applications. You will have the opportunity to work first hand with a number of technologies and programming languages, many of which you will have the opportunity to research and choose yourself.  As an “Ignite” intern at Enterprise Holdings you will be responsible for creating innovative business solutions for real world problems.

    INTERN - SOFTWARE ENGINEER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with Engineers and Architects to analyze requirements
    • Interpret requirements to create custom applications
    • Research and select technologies for building applications
    • Develop prototypes and perform application programming
    • Perform unit and integration testing

    ENTERPRISE’S TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT INCLUDES:

    • Java and Object Oriented Application Development
    • Agile Methodology
    • Web Site Development
    • Web Services

    Required:

    • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
    • Must be enrolled as a Junior or higher in a 4-year university
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Coursework completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business-Technology
    • Object oriented design knowledge (minimum from school)
    • Java experience (minimum from school)
    • Relational database knowledge (minimum from school)
    • SQL knowledge (minimum from school)
    • Ability to identify and creatively resolve problems
    • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

    Preferred:

    • Previous Internship or Co-op experience
    • Past work experience and/or community service
