    Field Recruiter Location: Dilley, TX Job Code: 645 # of Openings: 1 Description JOB SUMMARY The Recruiter is responsible for achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates and advising managers for Xcaliburs locations in Jal, NM and Dilley, TX.This position is responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services to Xcalibur Logistics, LLC. This person can live in Hobbes, Artesia or Carlsbad, NM or Odessa, Texas, but must be willing to travel extensively to recruit on a face-to-face level. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs and pre-qualifications Builds applicant sources by researching employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; Travels to locations where drivers congregate (e.g., truck stops and drop off locations) to apprise them of opportunities at Xcalibur; Attends job fairs across Texas and New Mexico on behalf of Xcalibur; Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications; Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites; Determines applicant qualifications by screening applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements; Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks; Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Additional responsibilities as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree preferred 2-4 years recruiting experience required Experience in all full lifecycle recruiting components including but not limited to: sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence Ability to present new recruiting concepts Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of all levels of management Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office Suite of applications and the use of email Must be self-motivated with proven ability to independently accomplish objectives Ability to establish, build and maintain positive business relationships Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week ABILITIES REQUIRED Ability to meet highest attendance requirements Ability to travel at least 50% Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc. Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
