The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for handling the electrical and mechanical projects for our facilities including equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.

Location of Job: Monroe, NJ

2 shifts available: Monday - Friday 2nd: 2pm-11:30 3rd: 11p-7:30a

Key Responsibilities:  Troubleshoots and repairs various manufacturing equipment.  Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.  Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions.  Install, set up, and tune new injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems. May install and maintain fixtures and facilities.  Services equipment used by oiling, greasing, and adding gas as required.  Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.  Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.  Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:  Two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic.  Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.  Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair technique.  Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.  Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.  Ability to work overtime with a flex schedule on the weekends.  Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
