Spherion, in partnership with American Family Insurance/Homesite, is currently recruiting for a temporary entry level Actuarial Analyst. This role is expected to last 9 months with possible extension. It is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week on-site at American Family's National Headquarters in Madison, WI. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that! Responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating and interpreting rate and rating plan changes. Compiles and integrates data into rating processes and systems. Effectively communicates the status, implementation, and impact of changes to rules, rates, and procedures. Develop and run standard reports for the department to support the analysis and business partner requests. Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Prefer 1 or 2 actuarial exams passed. Actuarial education, such as an Actuarial Science degree preferred VBA experience SAS experience Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: Excel proficiency essential Prior Insurance experience SQL experience If you are an individual that is looking to put your learned Actuarial knowledge to use, this could be a role for you!
