Cash Room Clerk SSP America 224 reviews - Sacramento, CA Overview The Cashroom Attendant will be held responsible for all receiving, distribution, and maintenance of cash on the property. Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of the property safe including petty cash, cash drawers, and any/all monies to be deposited in the bank * Must conduct and be responsible for cash audits * Must follow all property procedures involving any cash entering or leaving the cash room
• Must prepare bank deposits, change orders, and reconcile cash daily from prior days business * Must notify GM and/or Unit controller immediately about any cash discrepancies * Must follow and prepare all required paperwork for financial reporting as dictated by UC * Must follow all safety and security procedures as dictated by SSP company guidelines and airport guidelines about handling, transporting, and storing cash * Keep Cashroom area clean and organized * Maintain supply levels for all necessary items * Prepare, order, and receive change orders from the bank in accordance with property standards * Any and all other duties as assigned by Cashroom Manager or Controller Qualifications * Minimum 2 years cash handling experience * Bank Teller experience preferred * Effective written and verbal communication * Confidentiality * Problem solving, organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team * Ability to multi-task * Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) * Food service/restaurant experience (preferred) * Bachelors Degree in Accounting or working towards degree (preferred) * Ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes * Ability to deal with high stressful situations * and exercise sound judgment and decision making * Flexible schedule as business demands.
