    Job Description

    • Apply principles of engineering and physical sciences in the design of flight vehicle structures
    • Utilize expertise in materials and design tools to support development and integration
    • Collaboratively develop, document, and evaluate structural designs
    • Ensure designs meet performance, functional adequacy, cost efficiency, and manufacturability requirements
    • Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standard
    • Focus areas may include: Primary structural design, Secondary structural design, Payload integration, Weight analysis, Lofting
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 11 years of experience as structural analysis engineer or stress engineer in the aerospace industry
    • Strong background in metallic structural design.
    • Proficiency in CATIA and familiarity with Boeing design processes required.
    • ENOVIA experience preferred.
    • Prior experience working on Boeing programs or fuselage structures.
    • Recent Boeing or Spirit AeroSystems commercial structures experience (within the last 10 years), particularly with primary structures.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (engineering degrees preferred over drafting or technical design backgrounds).
    • Seeking candidates with experience in aerospace structures, product development, and new design rather than narrow specialization.
