TRAINER - DFW Swissport International Ltd. 2,322 reviews - Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, TX Full-time, Contract The Trainer is responsible to train, monitor and evaluate new employees while ensuring company and carrier policies, procedures and standards are conducted safely and meet all requirements and regulations. Manage, plan, develop, schedule, and maintain records for all operational employees. Ensure a commitment to safety through effective leadership and implementation of practices that demonstrate our core safety values and priority in all aspects of work. Maintain the highest level of professional and ethical behavior with customers, fellow employees and business partners. Job Responsibilities * Conduct initial and recurrent classroom and operational training * Maintain internal database and tracking systems * Audit and evaluate operations/employees for compliance * Maintain training files/records of all employees for compliance of all Airport Authority, Company and Carrier rules and regulations * Audit Weight and Balance paperwork * Ability to work varying shifts/hours/holidays * Develop, articulate and adhere to training material and establish training programs as per standards * Prepare examinations and progress reports for initial and recurrent training programs * Monitor and evaluate performance of all employees * Prepare and complete checklists and observation forms for all employees * Knowledge and understanding of the all current contracts and carrier specific differences * Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications and Competencies * High School Diploma or equivalent * Minimum of three (3) years ramp operation experience * Classroom and OJT Trainer/Mentor experience * Knowledge of all required policy, procedures and SOPSs * Be able to pass security clearance (criminal background check) * Possess a valid drivers license
