Job Description
Check in and check out all equipment stored in the instrumentation lab
Serve as a super user for the internal asset management database (IndySoft)
Track and maintain accurate equipment inventory records
Troubleshoot, verify, and document equipment with reported issues
Support engineering teams by preparing and delivering equipment on time per project requests
Prioritize and manage calibration activities based on upcoming workload
Interface with calibration services and equipment vendors
Manage equipment storage locations and labeling
Maintain strong working relationships with engineers and other stakeholders
Support internal 5S initiatives to maintain a clean and organized lab environment
Qualifications
Basic electrical knowledge
Ability to perform soldering and operate required tools and equipment
Ability to read and update wiring diagrams
Repair wiring harnesses using documented schematics and data sheets
Assemble connectors and components to company standards
Verify instrumentation functionality using documented procedures
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Office suite
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Positive mindset, strong work ethic, and a proactive, can-do attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with inventory management systems
Previous experience with data loggers and measurement sensors
