We are progressing our reprogramming gene therapy project towards a development candidate and IND filing. We are establishing target and drug discovery technologies including the development of a panel of iPSC-CMs representing human disease-causing mutations. Our mission is to become a preeminent biopharmaceutical company discovering and developing medicines to cure heart failure. We are seeking a creative scientist with an interest in discovery and development of novel therapies to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to join a company at an early stage doing cutting edge basic and clinical science. Key Responsibilities: Purifying proteins from a variety of sources (native, E. coli, mammalian, etc.) using various chromatographic techniques Developing biochemical and cellular assays to support small molecule modulator programs Present findings to the group and company in general meetings Requirements Skills & Competencies: Understanding of protein biochemistry and protein characterization Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Communicate clearly and effectively Build open and collaborative relationships. Positive attitude Consistent attention to details Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Industry experience is preferred.
