Job Description
The Terminal Operations Rotational Internship Program is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of terminal operations, logistics, and supply chain management. Interns will rotate through key departments, gaining exposure to critical functions such as cargo handling, equipment operation, regulatory compliance, safety procedures, and operational efficiency. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop industry knowledge, technical skills, and leadership capabilities in a real-world terminal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Terminal Operations & Logistics
* Assist with the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
* Learn about industry safety standards, environmental regulations, and emergency response procedures.
Equipment & Maintenance
* Assist in equipment inspections, preventative maintenance planning, and repair coordination.
Customer Service & Communication
* Interact with trucking companies, vessel crews, and warehouse teams to support terminal operations.
Technology & Data Management
* Work with terminal management systems to track shipments and performance metrics.
