The Tour Collections Supervisor is responsible for the support and supervision of a team of Tour Collectors. This position will work closely with the Collections Manager, customers, sales, and sales support on the accounts assigned to their team. The Tour Collections Supervisor is also responsible for the training and development of the team.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Review and monitor all tour account receivables and action items
- Meet with Rate Supervisors, managers, and analysts monthly to discuss the progress of dispute research and to maintain an organization of master reconciliation files
- Review and approve adjustment and write off entries
- Research Customer inquiries and assist Collectors with resolving issues
- Review collector aging daily; retrieve and advise collectors of weekly aging factors
- Provide support for senior management A/R reporting
- Hold weekly team meetings to discuss/identify potential problems and to offer solutions
- Train and develop a team of Collectors, give employee evaluations and implement plans to address performance issues
- Seek to improve job performance thru self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
- Perform extensive auditing of the Master reconciliation files
- Conduct monthly conference calls with international customers
- Facilitate A/R settlement proposals for Customer Accounts
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
