THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking highly motivated semi-skilled employees to perform assembly of various pneumatic and mechanical valves; using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions, assembly drawings and test equipment. STARTING PAY IS $13 PER HOUR.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair failures as needed
• Report problems with quality, safety, process, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor
• Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed
• Maintains a clean and organized work area

Required Skills

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions
• Ability to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble and test these valves.
• Ability to read and comprehend written procedures
• Ability to access drawings and procedures via computer

PREFERRED:

• Familiar with computers.
• Ability to read assembly blueprints
• Familiar with lean manufacturing tools

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Dexterity
• Ability to frequently stand, sit, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, and kneel
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
• Ability to operate lift assist equipment to move assemblies that are over 30 pounds

Required Experience

1-2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferred in assembly

EDUCATION:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred
