As a technology recruiter for United, youll help us find the right technology talent that will be critical in moving our business forward. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, youll be responsible for delivering on all facets of recruiting success. You will assist in promoting a strong employment brand, and you will ensue a positive candidate experience by creating a high touch environment. Well expect you to develop and execute sourcing plans through strong partnerships with your hiring leaders. Youll be a consultant to our business leaders around our internal process, the external market and recruitment best practices. Most importantly, youll be a business partner to our technology and HR teams. Responsibilities Be a Business Partner & Trusted Advisor * Conducts initial recruitment meetings with managers to understand the role, the team and the technical requirements of each assigned role. * Develop an understanding of your stakeholders business by attending town hall meetings and team meetings. * Align with HR and Compensation teams to ensure a One HR approach is taken * Drive the recruitment process through regular and effective communication with hiring managers. Find Talent * Develop and execute against sourcing strategies to source key technical talent for United. * Develop an understanding of the technology market using analytics. * Educate teams and managers on market trends * Sell United. Communicate our value proposition and our strategy to engage passive candidates in our job postings, via social media and during interviews. * Conduct interviews with candidates and provide recommended slate to hiring managers. * Manage offer process from end to end including negotiations and closing. Be Adaptable * Participate and lead events and recruitment activities aligned with our Talent Acquisition Strategy * Create unique strategies that will ensure a pipeline of diverse talent. * Participate in United events, panel discussions, Business Resource Group partnerships and HR Projects as required. Education/Certification * Bachelor Degree * PHR or SPHR certification preferred * LinkedIn certified recruiter preferred Knowledge/Skills * 3 +years of recent experience in technical recruiting required. Experience recruiting in an enterprise wide, matrixed environment a plus. * Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with all levels within the organization required. * Demonstrated good judgment and confidentiality * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on a consulting orientation * Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, highly team-oriented environment * Excellent time management, follow-through and organizational skills * Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and ability to delegate work as needed * Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and databases * Strong knowledge of social media and demonstrated usage of tools such as LinkedIn * Ability to utilize passive sourcing techniques * Ability to quickly assess candidate's skills/qualifications and attributes and make placements/recommendations as appropriate * Ability to coach and council internal and external candidates on career development * Direct, hands-on use of Taleo or other applicant tracking systems (i.e. iCIMS) required within the last 3 years Experience Other * Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship * Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification * Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT
