Job overview and responsibilities As a Staff Representative of Customer Service Delivery Events, this role is responsible for delivering on the teams mission to unite CSD employees through the creation and delivery of meaningful experiences. Working on a small team, this position assists the planning and logistical execution of well organized, safe, and high-quality employee experiences at a variety of business meetings, focus groups, awards ceremonies, conferences and events. * Develop and execute integrated events including planning, on-site management and post event follow-up * Work cross functionally to envision, design and build event-based solutions that meet desired goals and objectives * Prepare RFPs and present proposals, project timelines, and agendas * Compile event attendee names, send invitations and manage RSVPs * Coordinate with venues on meeting and event floor plans and set up, menus, rooming lists, and additional needs * Conduct site inspections when required * Identify AV needs and secure vendors * Source and order meeting and event supplies * Create event briefs for key stakeholders * Secure executive participation and participation (as needed) * Provide day-of event coordination to ensure smooth execution of event * Reconcile invoices post event to ensure timely billing/payment schedules Required * Bachelor's Degree * Minimum of 1+ year of event planning experience * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Word) Bachelor's Degree * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time results * Exemplary interpersonal, verbal, listening and written communication skills * Positive, flexible and professional demeanor while working with diverse groups * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, customers, suppliers and other business contacts * Adaptable to different working environments and flexible when faced with sudden changes * Ability to travel 10- 20% * Travel and offsite schedule may necessitate early mornings and/or evening schedule * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship * Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification * Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Preferred * Project management experience * Prior event planning or hospitality experience * CPR certified Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT
