    Intern - Supply Chain (Summer 2018) Req #: SFO00002854-KA Location: San Francisco, CA US Job Category:Intern - MBA & Undergrad The Continuous Improvement Intern Contributor is responsible for identifying and implementing improvements in delivering material to San Francisco Maintenance personnel and in turn, improving the level of Maintenance customer satisfaction. This position will work with both Stores and Maintenance management and frontline employees to understand the current state processes, identify process failures and implement targeted improvement opportunities that address/correct the underlying root cause. This position requires innovative and forward thinking to drive and deliver improvements in the SF Stores organization. Job overview and responsibilities * Lead continuous improvement Stores initiatives that reduce the overall delivery time of aircraft material to SF Maintenance technicians * Conduct data analysis and display data in an articulate and meaningful manner that resonates with project champion, owner and team members * Define project stakeholders, scope and timeline * Determine Root Cause and identify and implement targeted improvements that result in measurable results * Provide regular status updates to project owner/senior leadership throughout the project * Develop and deliver effective executive project summaries lifecycle * Monitor corrective actions/improvements are sustained * Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications * Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Preferred Qualifications * Continuous Improvement principles and tools * Strong Analytical Skills * Process Mapping * MS Project Planning * Knowledge in Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools and Principles * Project management skills * Currently pursuing a bachelors/masters degree in supply chain management or a relative field Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT
