ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position.

• Prospecting potential dedicated customers and developing qualified solutions.
• Lead the dedicated sales process from identifying the initial opportunity, designing a strategy, pricing, proposal creation, presentation and award.   Also includes completing all aspects of the customer interface including coordinating the negotiation of transportation agreements, publishing appropriate rates and fuel tables and all relevant documents
• Develop a customer strategy in collaboration with the Account Executives in your territory for prospective customers that ensures the profit growth and expansion of Dedicated Services.
• Communicate the Dedicated Divisions marketing plan to the sales team, and other specialized product representatives within your territory/region.
• Facilitate effective communication with customers for project development, follow-up meetings on presentations and proposals given, quarterly reviews, expanded development and other opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, Management, or Transportation/Logistics, or equivalent experience.
• Four to five years sales experience preferred.
• Two years of experience in a Dedicated Sales preferred.
