Job Description

Our mobile engineers move extremely fast while solving unusual and challenging problems. They're smart, hands-on, and have a solid foundation in computer science, math or software engineering. They have strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design, and are able to contribute under a great deal of independence. They also have a strong desire and passion for hacking social commerce.

As an Android Software Engineer Intern on the Product team, you will get to work on the #1 shopping app on Android, and own features directly used by over 500 million shoppers worldwide. You will have a great deal of responsibility for each project you work on and will have the flexibility to influence design and execution.  With full transparency to all metrics, you will get to see how your features directly impact the company's performance and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Computer science, math, and software engineering are in your DNA. You have a solid foundation and a real passion for it
• Relevant experience with developing native applications for Android, through internships or projects
• Dedicated to learning and improving their mobile development skills
• Interested in end-to-end feature development from design to execution
• You revel in building features quickly and iterating in a data-driven fashion
• Passion for hacking social commerce
• Available to work full-time hours (40 hours/week) from September - December 2021
