Job Description

Wish is looking for a Network Engineer to help optimize, maintain, and operate our global network. The company, recently having gone through an IPO (Initial Public Offering), is rapidly expanding to handle our international business demands and our team is growing to meet these demands. Ideally, you will bring a solid understanding of networking and have a passion for growing and challenging your skillset. 

What you’ll do

• Support both local office infrastructure and remote satellite locations to meet our diverse business needs.

• Performing maintenance and configuration changes

• Participate in an on-call rotation

• Research new technologies and solutions

• Document technical procedures and create end-user guides

• Look for opportunities to script and automate operations

• Facilitate global collaboration solutions with emerging technologies.

• Participate in high level technical discussions and decisions with vendors

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of direct professional experience supporting medium to large scale enterprise networks

• CCNA or equivalent certification

• Basic understanding of Network Monitoring and Management tools like Logic Monitor, IPAM, Grafana.

• Experience with Cisco (Nexus NX-OS, IOS) and/or Juniper (JUNOS)

• Understanding of enterprise wireless networking

• Desire to understand and implement new technologies in the field that can help deliver on business needs

• Eager to learn with an penchant for documentation

Nice to have:

• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and cloud infrastructure

• Experience with Palo Alto (PAN-OS) 

• Experience with network automation
