  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Reports in directly to the VP of HR
    • Maintains a positive relationship with the local landlord and understands table stakes involved in occupying and vacating spaces in accordance with building regulations, cert of insurance requirements etc.
    • Hires, trains, and develops the Workplace Experience Managers
    • Supports real estate consultants and brokers in implementing a global space planning strategy (ensuring real estate is operating from “one source of truth” for headcounts and projections)
    • Partners with IT to create an internal move management procedure and provides project management for scope in all offices
    • Partners with Physical Security and HR to design and maintain a fire, life, and safety program for all locations
    • Partners with HR, IT, Security, and Legal to draft and implement sustainable Workplace policies and procedures that fit Wishes needs financially and culturally (including company and personal mail policies)
    • Partners with Finance to create, maintain, and project Workplace budgets for all locations
    • Drive company wide events partnering with each local team to create an aligned experience and budget while acknowledging the individuality of each location
    • First aid and CPR certified and holds an emergency warden position in the office they work from
    • Ensures all locations have facilities maintenance programs in place (HVAC maintenance, carpet cleaning, kitchen appliances etc.)
    • Maintains strong partnerships with Workplace business partners including HR, People, Security, Legal, and IT by proactively communicating new and updated Workplace initiatives and policies to foster a positive working relationship
    • Visits all their Workplace Experience Managers quarterly for an “in person” 1 on 1, space assessment, and check in with local dept heads (a sort of 180 degree review)
    • Ensures all offices are upholding established “Workplace Best Practices” for an optimal employee experience
    • Provides “out of office” support for Workplace Experience Managers

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Who you are:

    • 6+ years of people management experience
    • 4+ years of facilities and vendor management experience
    • Highly organized and detail oriented within a fast-paced environment
    • Strong customer focus and highly resourceful - an “anything is possible” attitude
    • Flexible and able to occasionally work after-hours for emergencies
    • Highly collaborative with a great degree of interpersonal savvy and professionalism
    • Able to manage ambiguity with ease
    • Able to operate a hand truck and lift 50+ pounds

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with tenant improvement projects preferred
    • Bonus: Experience with AV or IT helpdesk set up
    • Working knowledge and experience with HVAC / MEP
