Workday Human Resources Analyst
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for providing overall support to the design, configuration, development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of HR technology and applications. The position will strive towards maximizing efficiency, improving processes and project implementation to ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting. The position may be designated to specific HR technology and applications within a designated functional area (e.g., HRM, Talent Management, Total Rewards, etc.).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform ongoing maintenance and support on HR systems and applications including software installations, upgrades, compliance updates, program coding, maintenance, backing-up data and administering security/access protocols
Perform general application configuration, deployment and data maintenance, including security configuration and HRIS functionality review to ensure systems and applications are working efficiently and effectively
Support implementations and/or updates of HR systems and applications; execute periodic system changes
Define system requirements for new and/or updated functionality and configuration
Design and develop tools and technology needed for HR and business measures and metrics
Perform system testing of functionality on behalf of the business users and work with super users to establish a comprehensive training and deployment plan
Prepare data for processing by organizing information, checking for any inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighting the raw data
Support the communication with Information Technology Department regarding integrations of the HR systems and applications into all the HR-related processes and vendors
Support the partnership with other internal departments, business units and senior management to ensure the effective implementation of HR technology policies
Collaborate as needed with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Operations to ensure that human resources core services are delivered effectively and efficiently
Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Industrial Psychology or related field with 3-5 years of related experience in technology or HRIS systems
Ability to analyze and interpret HR data
Ability to be both flexible and adaptable
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to understand and apply business acumen
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Proficient Data Analysis skills
Experience in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Experience in technology systems
Knowledge of HRIS/Talent Management/Payroll systems
Logical, process oriented
Problem Solving skills
Technical aptitude and ability to understand functional concepts quickly
