    Title: Operations Engineering Intern ID: 3535 Location: Duluth, MN Shift Work: No shift Posting Destination: Internal / External - Non Union Apprenticeship: N/A:Non Union Position Application Close Date: 05/23/2018 Description ALLETE Clean Energy specializes in developing, acquiring, and managing clean and renewable energy projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the ALLETE Clean Energy Operations team with data analysis of the company wind energy assets. Monthly site performance analysis and evaluation including; energy production by turbine (power curve performance), fault trends, wind resource assessment, and part consumption. Gearbox oil sample data analysis. Outage lost production analysis. Reporting system maintenance. 3rd party monitoring efficiency assessment. NERC compliance reporting. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Must have completed sophomore year majoring in Mathematics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering by Spring 2018 and be enrolled for fall semester. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: No direct experience required. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The position is full-time during the summer of 2018, with the potential for part-time, flexible up to 20 hrs/week during the 2018/2019 school year. This is a paid internship.
