Consider joining the Duke Energy team, where you'll find a friendly work environment, opportunities for growth and development, recognition for your work, and competitive pay and benefits. 3rd Party Services, Summer Intern- 2018 The internship will be located in Charlotte, NC.nbsp; The intern will undertake short-term responsibilities which may involve any or all of the following:nbsp;market research, project management, financial analysis, data analysis,.nbsp; The area of focus is primarily supporting Duke Energy Renewables Oamp;M services business.It may also include renewables nbsp;that may impact the energy and utility industry in the next 15 years.nbsp; The intern will be exposed to test projects in the Charlotte area including microgrids and battery storage technologies.nbsp; Work location will be in the Charlotte, NC area with possible travel within the Duke Energy service territory. Basic Qualifications: * Currently enrolled and pursuing a four year degree from an accredited College or University * Cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 * Ability to work May through August 2016 * Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite software * Coursework covering Desired Qualifications: * Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills * Demonstrates ability to provide the quantity and quality of work necessary to reach an accomplishment * Demonstrated leadership qualities through effective decision making * Works effectively with others from diverse backgrounds to achieve common goal * Ability to deliver superior results within allocated time through effective prioritization, scheduling, planning and execution of assigned work * Demonstrates tenacity by remaining persistence in the face of difficulty
