The Commodities Services Tech II position is responsible for: * All day-to-day activities regarding warehouse operations including inventory control, issues, receiving, transfers, chemical inventory and the equipment and tools lifting programnbsp; * Ensures inventory accuracy, which includes physical inventory and chemical inventory processes * Ensures the safe movement and handling of required parts and maintenance materials into and out of the Power Generation facilities * Ensures work priorities are established and adhered to for activities associated with material handling processes and systems * Works with members of the stations staff to prioritize, schedule and implement activities related with day to day operations and maintenance activities within the Power Generation facilitynbsp; * Focus on customer service to support the supply chain organization and the generation plant operations customers * Works with new processes and systems within Supply Chain operations, i.e., MAXIMO and PeopleSoft * Maintains excellent communications with supply chain site procurement and site operations to ensure the efficient flow of commodities in and out of plant inventories Basic Qualifications: * At leastnbsp; 2 years of warehouse operations experience or power generation experience * Maintain a valid drivers license for occasionally use of company vehicles * Ability to successfully complete fork-lift, Environmental , Health amp; Safety and other supply chain-related training within 90 days, or as nbsp;directed by supervision * Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including windows-based applications, i.e., Word, Excel, etc. * Self-motivated and able to work productively with little direct supervision * Experience in interacting with a diverse range of contacts, including managers, non-managers, and external customers.nbsp; Proven ability to anticipate and respond effectively to customer request, which may include inquiries received in person, via phone and/or in writing * Ability to multi-task and adapt to constantly changing conditions, such as time constraints * Demonstrated excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills * Demonstrated ability to prioritize both long-term and short term task on or before due date and from multiple team members, balanced along with day-to-day work assignments nbsp; Desired Qualifications: * nbsp;Associate degree or higher from an accredited university, college or trade school * Five or more years of warehouse and/or supply chain experience * Working knowledge of the overall operating fundamentals and principals of generating station systems, equipment and processes * Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, along with good verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrated ability to identify problems, consider resolutions and take the necessary steps to solve the problems * Demonstrated working knowledge of inventory systems and/or work management systems Working Conditions: * Works inside warehouse and outside yard environment including all weather conditions and possibly extreme temperatures * Work hours subject to change, based on customer needs * Overtime and emergency call-out requirements * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds * Frequent contact with coal dust and fly ash * Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, pulling, climbing ladders, etc.nbsp; Travel Requirements Not required Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable) No Represented/Union Position IBEW Local 962 Visa Sponsored Position No Posting Expiration Date Wednesday, September 19, 2018 All job postings expire at 12:01 AM on the posting expiration date.
