Job Description We are seeking junior software developers to: Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, debugging, deployment and maintenance of software products to enable Equinor's digital roadmap Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to automate the process of software delivery and IT infrastructure, following the DevOps principles Support software engineering process improvements and establishment of best software engineering practices in Equinor Qualifications Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science or equivalent Knowledge of the key software development methodologies and frameworks Experience in following agile, iterative and incremental software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) Interest in object-oriented design and functional programming paradigms Experience with at least one of the development languages (e.g. Python, C#, C++, Java, JavaScrpt, SQL etc). Knowledge in statistics and mathematics Interested in exposure to visualization or machine learning Knowledge or interest in cloud infrastructure e.g. Microsoft Azure and AWS Personal Qualities Continuous learning and development attitude Innovative and creative combined with result orientation and commercialism Strong interest in understanding of external digital opportunities and how that can contribute to improve Equinors performance A positive can do attitude High integrity and ability to role model our values We Offer .
