Duties & Responsibilities:

• Editing existing training and related content

• Creating new documentation using Word and PowerPoint

• Ability to research topics and distill information from research

• Listen attentively and take notes

• Learn Itron products, customer trainings, Training as a Service

• Collaborate with remote team across different time zones, including participation in department meetings

Duration:

This intern will contribute 32 hours/wk during the summer and academic breaks. M-Th schedule. Summer internship only (3-months)

Required Skills & Experience:

• Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited university degree program pursuing journalism, communication, English, instructional design strategies, or related discipline

• Intermediate knowledge of workplace software technologies (i.e. Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, etc.)

• Experience writing and researching

• Professional workplace communication skills

• Must be based in the greater Raleigh area, and available to work traditional business hours Monday - Thursday.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Related work or internship experience

• Experience using Articulate
