The Global Customer Support Services (GCSS) organization exists to ensure a seamless customer experience and continuous success by providing unparalleled care to every customer in their resourceful use of energy and water. GCSS is looking for a project coordinator to help support our Customer Experience project which involves defining and documenting customer touchpoints within GCSS along with the gaps as they exist today. This Intern will be working with GCSS leadership and engineers on a global scale.
DURATION: ~8 hours/day for at least 90 days, with potential to continue to year end
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in development of the GCSS Customer Experience Journey Mapping
Interview GCSS team members and cross-functional stakeholders to gain an understanding of customer touchpoints and gaps via workplace collaboration tools and technologies such as Microsoft Teams
Assist in research of Customer Experience Journey Mapping through various online research channels such as Technology & Services Industry Association (TSIA)
Track project assignments and keep team informed of progress
Collaborate with stakeholders effectively via workplace collaboration tools and technologies
Ability to learn and work within our Incident Management systems such as Remedy and Salesforce
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Enrolled in a related accredited degree program OR seeking to return to the workforce to make a career pivot
Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products such as Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint (or similar workplace collaboration tools)
Professional workplace communication skills, including ability to communicate with stakeholders globally and write professionally with clear tone and accessible documentation
The ability to work independently and manage one’s time independently and successfully
Self-starter with an authentic and enthusiastic attitude to learn
A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges and topics
Available to dedicate at least 90 days to internship
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to stakeholders internally
Knowledge of Power BI and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’S) measures
Project Management skills and/or desire for Project Management career
Prior related work, internship or volunteer experience in a complex matrixed organization
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
