  • Responsibilities

    Our Global Customer Support Services (GCSS) team is searching for an intern to support various GCSS Projects and day-to-day operations. The intern will assist the Project Teams for the scoping, project management and user acceptance testing. The day-to-day operations include system maintenance, user account management, process review and system troubleshooting. This role requires a strong understanding of technical terminology but is not a heavy coding position.

    Duration: This is intended to be a four-month paid internship (~20-30 hours/week) beginning immediately, with potential to extend beyond the stated timeframe.

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist with daily operations for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

    • Understand technical requirements to engage with system stakeholders

    • Support the Unified Customer Experience project, interviewing internal stakeholders to understand how teams work with customers and recommend improvements after pulling together end-to-end process information

    • Utilize strong business acumen and communication skills to interact, collaborate and problem solve with technical teams and business leaders

    EDUCATION:

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited university degree program working towards a degree in a related field (Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, Business, Information Technology or Project Management preferred).

    REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Strong understanding of technical terminology and business operations

    • Ability to work collaboratively in teams using professional oral and written communication skills

    • Able to work and collaborate efficiently with a remote team, spread over multiple time zones, including experience using common workplace collaboration tools (i.e. Teams, Outlook, Zoom, Slack, etc.)

    • Experience managing time well and prioritizing tasks

    • Strong problem-solving ability with the desire to take ownership of issues and follow through until resolution

    • Must be available for at least 20 hours/week

    PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Prior related experience

    • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library

    • Candidate to be located in central time zone, or available often for central time zone work hours to collaborate with teammates

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
