    The Sr Analyst of Cybersecurity leads the analysis of threats and designs cyber security measures that ensure the integrity, continuity and confidentiality of information resources across the OPPD enterprise. The scope of functions include: security administration, security awareness, policies, standards, procedures, malware protection, configuration management, and use monitoring. Accountable to lead, develop, administer and control cybersecurity access levels, protection measures, and provide input to the development of overarching policies and the cybersecurity framework. The incumbent is responsible to monitor and respond to security and enterprise monitoring tools and design automated alerting and support incident escalation. The incumbent monitors and acts on cybersecurity fulfillment/response requests and recommends proper methods and processes to the business to address threats. The position provides day-to-day functions in cybersecurity as well as the required compliance vulnerability and monitoring activities.Cybersecurity Threats: Lead, design and implement improvements in cybersecurity threat monitoring, attack response methods, and incident response plans.Partner with Security Operations team to investigate security events.Review current security capabilities and continually evaluate existing threats, security risk and impact, and analyze possible solutions to mitigate risks.Lead cybersecurity assessments of technologies and systems to identify risks.Lead OPPD’s cybersecurity situation awareness and information sharing processes.Cybersecurity Project Management: Analyze and develop new and existing projects and technologies based on the OPPD cybersecurity roadmap.Consult with IT projects to provide guidance on security architecture and security requirements to ensure that project-related risks are appropriately addressed.Lead project initiatives as assigned by manager.Cybersecurity Solutions: Define, evaluate, and implement cybersecurity solutions and operational security tools to meet the needs of OPPD.At Omaha Public Power District, we’re passionate about three things: power, the people who make it, and the people who rely on it.WE ARE: Where the Light Starts. If you want to be a source of real, positive change for the community and the people who live in this region, then working for a company acknowledged for caring about these same things is likely a priority for you as well.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degreeMinimum for five (5) years’ experience in an equivalent role position.Must have, or obtain, security clearance qualification for NERC, NRC, FCS Critical Group, and SGI.The skills to plan, schedule and organize work and lead project/project team effectively.Able to communicate needs and schedules to BT and clients, as well as ensure that plans are in place and standards are adhered toCapability to perform under stressful situations and the ability to handle multiple complex conflicting priorities.Desired Qualifications: Certification for relevant software programs in technical domain or master’s degreeAdditional experience or education or certification in service management (ITSM and ITIL)Ability to influence without authority
