Position Description: This Year-Round Intern opportunity is for College level rising juniors and seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 seeking a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business. To qualify you must be available to work part-time and sometimes full-time during the school year and full-time (minimum 10 weeks) in the Summer. Assignments will be made to utilize your knowledge and offer an opportunity to gain experience by supporting department activities within a wide variety of business, community and marketing related opportunities. Duties include (but not limited to): * Support analysis of operations such as event gap analysis, time studies, customer satisfaction, customer issues and resolution. * Identify additional initiatives to achieve company operational goals and scorecard targets. * Support the development of weekly, monthly or quarterly reports as required by the business area. * Ability to design and analyze Excel reports based on collected data sets. * Support public relations and marketing efforts to increase customer awareness of company's outreach efforts. * Create/maintain Excel spreadsheets as needed for tracking etc. and prepare PowerPoint presentations as needed. * Analyze data in Microsoft Access, Excel, or other database tools. * Participate in group brainstorming to drive/improve customer awareness of outreach efforts. * Apply critical thinking to produce alternative ideas and solutions. * Ensure communication and documentation is clear and proper action is taken based on business rules and all internal processes are followed. * Special assignments as determined by manager. * Identify and recommend alternative/ process solutions (process improvements). Education and Qualifications: Required: * Actively pursuing a Bachelors or Master degree from an accredited institution in Business with a GPA of at least 3.0. * Available to work part-time (min 20 hours per week, preferably 24 hours per week) and full-time during breaks throughout the school year. * Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, and Power Point Applications. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; analytical mind, results oriented, attention to detail and ability to meet established deadlines are required. * Planning and organizational skills. * Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
