Primary focus will be in the execution of test protocols and the fabrication/setup of testing equipment. Responsibilities Utilizes mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics to prepare and assemble electro/mechanical partsAssists in the handling of product line or other equipment for verification testingExecution of technical requirement verification testing protocols Development of prototypes (including 3D printing) used in proof of concept verification studiesAssists in the assembly and testing of production released and design released systems and support equipment including development input and modifications under engineering directionUtilizes appropriate processes, procedures, forms and software used in manufacturing systems, equipment and sub-assemblies to meet quality, safety and enterprise resource management requirementsPerforms general inspections, maintenance and service of department equipment and machinery within HSE compliance requirementsGeneration of technical verification reports for top level assemblies and sub-assembliesParticipates in skill assessments, demonstrated proficiency assessments, and assigned training course requirements for advancement to Systems Technician Qualifications Associates Degree or Technology Certificate in Electronics, Mechanics, Automation or Engineering related fields or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of skills and experience gained through other training programs,Experience in pipeline inspection systems is preferred,Proficiency in commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures used within mechanical, electrical and electronic technologies,Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and assemble electro-mechanical devices using schematics and drawings with minimal supervision,Demonstrated ability to take precise measurements examples include: torque, multi-meter, digital caliper and digital signal,Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to safely and properly use hand tools and small power tools used in the assembly of electro-mechanical devices,Demonstrated soldering and connector crimping skills necessary for fabrication of wiring harnesses and electrical assemblies; IPC certification preferred,Excellent verbal and written communication skills,Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills and ability to pull information from web-based applications.Experience with SolidWorks and/or another 3D CAD system desirableExperience with basic machine tools (manual mill, lathe, drill press) desirableForklift and overhead crane experience desirableOptionsApply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendReferSorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
