    An exciting opportunity is available on our Technical & Performance Team in North America. Our team is focused on driving efficiency and growth initiatives across all our corporate functions and services. We work hand-in-hand with our operations teams to identify and implement opportunities for performance improvements. The key to our success is the combination of strong analytics, a comprehensive approach to performance transformation and regular application of change management principles.

    Job Summary: 

    As a member of our team, you will be working on a wide range of operational and technical issues across municipal and industrial water utility operations, hazardous waste management, business support functions and more. Business Analyst Interns receive frequent coaching and have many opportunities to learn broader business and consulting skills such as large-scale program management, change management, and performance transformation.  

    You will be working from one of the Performance team’s main locations in New York City or Houston.

    Responsibilities: 

    The following are specific responsibilities for the role: 

    • Gathering and analyzing information.

    • Formulating and testing hypothesis. 

    • Synthesizing information across a variety of sources. 

    • Developing and communicating recommendations. 

    • Presenting results to our clients. 

    • Implementing recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Qualifications:

    • In your junior year of an undergraduate Engineering degree; expected graduation date of December 2021 or May 2022.

    • Demonstrated outstanding academic performance and an aptitude for analytics. Must be comfortable manipulating complex data and evaluating complex issues such as large operational and financial datasets.

    • Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities. 

    • Genuine interest in business matters and enjoys solving complex problems

    • Able to communicate complex ideas clearly both in written and verbal formats. 

    • Strong commitment to excellence and personal and professional growth.

    • Intellectual curiosity and drive to succeed.

    • Thrives in a team oriented work environment 

    • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop rapport and credibility with people at all organizational levels, and form strong relationships, internally with colleagues, and externally with stakeholders.
