Position Summary This is a year round internship which includes working part-time hours during the school year. moving to a full-time schedule during the summer. Capital Asset Accounting Work with accounting staff to complete various accounting and/or project based processes. Specific tasks will be related to all the areas within Capital Asset Accounting. Typical responsibilities could include but are not limited to: Book Depreciation Deferred Taxes Tax Depreciation Asset Analysis Rate Case data preparation Monthly close process Learning to use various accounting systems Assisting with updates, data maintenance, and analysis Supporting the design and implementation of a new General Ledger system Answering information requests for various rate cases.
