An internship at Xcel Energy will give you practical experience in the energy industry at a company thats committed to excellence, safety and environmental stewardship. -Position Summary We are looking to hire a high school level -for our Transmission Control Center in Golden, Colorado. This internship will take place during the summer. This person will work directly with the training coordinator at the Transmission Control Center. This position will be required to work closely with the training coordinators at our control centers in Minneapolis and Amarillo. The ideal student will be interested in mathematics and/or electrical theory. Candidates will be asked to complete miscellaneous tasks that further the business such as grabbing food for a training event, being available to help with tasks to make sure training events are a success. This position will also be required to keep the training records up to date and posted on the proper regulatory sites.
