Waud Capital Partners (“WCP”) is a leading middle market private equity firm based in Chicago with over $3 billion in assets under management and a long track record of generating top quartile returns with a unique, research-driven approach to identifying investment opportunities. WCP is seeking an Analyst to join its Business Development team to play an important role in building the franchise and pursuing middle market private equity investments in software, technology, technology-enabled business services.
The Business Development Analyst will be a key team member in WCP’s continued growth and success, responsible for identifying and building relationships with executives and investment banks and assisting in developing and implementing new business origination processes and procedures across the firm. The right candidate will have high energy, a strong work ethic coupled with a positive and team-oriented attitude, a strong finance background (preferably prior investment banking, private equity, wealth management, or accounting experience), a curious interest in learning new businesses and industries, and a process-oriented workstyle/mindset.
