We are seeking a high-capacity and detail-oriented individual with outstanding interpersonal skills to join our team as an Investor Relations Associate. This person will be an integral part of our IR team and will be responsible for serving a global client base, managing projects, and assisting with business development efforts as requested. This role offers the opportunity to join one of the industry’s leading private equity firms and make key contributions to our future growth.
Please note this role is located in Chicago and requires in-person presence at our office several days each week.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensure that all client needs are consistently met and strive to exceed client expectations
Draft, populate, and review Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and database questionnaires, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information to our clients and consultants
Help prepare and distribute quarterly client reports and memos/documentation
Maintain and manage the investor portal and CRM databases
Create presentations for current clients and prospective investors; assist with presentation design and content curation
Conduct investment analysis
Provide support for meeting prep and follow-up
Utilize internal systems to run and analyze various reports
Respond to surveys from industry publications
Support the coordination and preparation of the firm’s annual meeting
Conduct market research and performance benchmarking research and analysis
Maintain portfolio company data and fundraising diligence materials
Provide support to existing investors on an ad-hoc basis (portal access, capital calls/distributions, contact updates, transfers)
Support press release execution
Other marketing and communications related projects as requested
2-3 years of work experience, preferably in Investment/Asset Management, Banking, Consulting, or Finance and Accounting
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a finance, accounting, or marketing-related field
Prior private equity exposure is helpful but not required
Strong writing, proofing, and formatting skills, along with polished verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy
Outstanding analytical, project, and time management skills
Able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks to ensure that complex projects are completed by deadline, with interim review steps incorporated
Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful
Active team player with the ability to independently manage a full workload and respond to shifting priorities
Demonstrated initiative and good judgment as well as the ability to work well under pressure and with time constraints
